Every year
the pictures displayed on the bureau
in our living room
get put away
and are replaced with

Christmas with Nana has fond memories...
So many gifts....so much chaos!
Nana was sure to stack the wrong present
in front of someone
ONLY to remember
Just
In
Time.....
and that person had to pass on
the half unwrapped gift!
Christmas at Aunt Connie's circa 1988
Christmas pictures with Birth Announcements...
Megan, Sydney & Baby Sister Kali
...family pets
Tess & Oliver
And co-ordinating dresses...
Lindsey, Ashley & Annie
Mixed among the memories
are
Christmas School Projects of

...and snowmen made from bottles
Christmas with Santa Bears...
And on Santa's Lap...
Taylor Age 3
Alec {The WebMaster} age 3
"NeeNee & Toddy Poddy"....circa 1966
Christmas Morning BedHead...
And the sweetest picture of all
with a story to tell...
Every year Taylor would set out cookies
and a letter she wrote to Santa.
Then one year...
...as children seem to do...
she got older and started questioning
????
"...Is there really a Santa Clause?"
As she lay in bed one night...
...dad reading her a story...
{Mom was at work...wink,wink}
She heard some bells outside her window
...and noise on the roof
{Reindeer hoofs she was sure}
Her dad confirmed it...He heard the bells too!
And when mom came in the door
holding a bell with a worn leather lace
{it must have broken from the sleigh}
Well,
let's just say...
that bought us
a couple of more years of SANTA.
She's 26 now...
but every year when i place
